Matt Licari is a skinny, energetic, intense little Irish-Italian Bronx kid who currently splits his time between Richmond Virginia and home sweet Bronx. He has had a jam-packed, adventurous life, chock full of traveling, skateboarding, socializing and art-making. He went to school at SUNY Purchase, a melting pot of insanity, wonder, love, color and joy. During his time there, and after, he worked in the commercial photography world as an assistant, grip, digital tech, and often as a photographer. His art-school background and industry experience have made him a chameleon of sorts, and he blends many styles into his imagery.

Matt came up with the visual for Ulrich Lang New York’s nightscape, an unsual perspective of New York City at night.
